Thanks for your response!

I'm afraid now I'm a bit confused about NXP's maintained Linux kernel repos:
Under https://source.codeaurora.org/external/qoriq/qoriq-components/linux there exist branches for
- linux-5.10
- lf-5.10.y
- lf-5.15.y
-and the respective -rt variants

I assume the ".y" stands for yocto, wheres the "linux-5.10" branch is the one being used in LSDK.
How do the kernel repos linux-5.xx and lf-5.xx differ from each other and which one is being recommended? Or doesn't it matter?

We are currently developing a product with LX2160. We use the linux kernel 5.10 from the current LSDK 2108 release.
Questions:
Are there any plans to update to kernel 5.15 with the next LSDK release?
Is there an estimated release date for the next LSDK 22.xx release?
