Hi everybody,

Recently we discovered that in MC9S08QB8/4 data sheet and user manual it is shown wrong QFN24 package! Documents showing QFN24 package 4x4mm with pitch 0.5mm and the reality is that it is 5x5mm and 0.65mm pitch. We already created some pcbs and our part assembler found that the part are not fitting to the footprint and cannot be mounted. Now we have to produce the hole batch of pcbs again and waste another few weeks! It is unbelievable that Freescale could made that kind of mistake !!! Yesterday probably after our phone call they at least updated package description on their home page but in manuals is still the same. So to all people using this chip be aware about that horrible mistake and to freescale guys please update that immediately!

Update: I have checked, and the datasheets have been corrected. I don't know if those changes have been pushed on-line yet. I apologize for the trouble this error has caused you.

---Tom
