I've been having problems with the CASM08Z assembler erroring out with an access violation message. I searched the net and found a few people having same problems but not resolved. The solution for me was that I had a comment line too long. Spreading it over two lines cured the problem. I thought I'd put this in the community in case someone else has a similar problem in the future. WINIde version 1.22 running on Windows XP SP2. I used an older version of assembler (V1.17) which worked and this showed a truncated listing file which is how I discovered the long line problem.
