Freescale 802.15.4 MAC???

I have bassically two questions about the full (not the SMAC) Freescale 802.15.4 MAC:

1. Is there a way to know how many MAC retries has been used to transmit a message?

2. If a radio receive two times the same packet (in the case the first ack was send but not receive by the transmitter), is the second packet discard by the MAC layer? If not, is there a way to have access to the sequence number of the received packet?

1. retries times is a MAC constant:aMaxFrameRetries,it's value is 3.

2. the second packet will be discard by the MAC layer,because those two packets have the same sequence number.
