Hi,

I want to clarify whether the following controllers can be operated on 3.3V

MC9S08SH8

MC9S08SE8.

The supply is very critical since we are looking at serial communication with another controller that is operating on 3.3V.

Also is there any other 8-bit controller with a pin count of 16 that can be operated at 3.3V.

I am using mc9s08qg8 which is 16 pin and runs on 3.3v.

Hello S. Varna, and welcome to the forum.

The '9S08SH8 and '9S08SE8 devices both have an allowable operating voltage range of 2.7 to 5.5 volts. They should be quite satisfactory if operating from a regulated 3.3 volt supply.
