We want to develop Freescale based Zigbee Star Network using IC MC1321X for Home Automation Syatem Product. For that what we have is:
1. Hardware of MC1321X Zigbee Transceiver+controller (designed by us) similar to RF daughter Card
2. All the softwares provided by Freescale (Which are avilable on net) like
- Freescale Z-Stack
- SMAC Stack
- Beekit Software

Sir, can you please help us for developing network which contain,
1. One Co-ordinator
2. Several End-Devices

We have Hardware and the softwares which are available on Freescale website but we don't know how to use it and move further.
Kindly guide us how to develop a system.

Hello,

If you already have your custom hardware, the recommendation is to download BeeKit software tool, which enable you to develop applications based on SMAC (proprietary P2P or star network), or 802.15.4 MAC (IEEE-based applications).

For a simple star network, with several end devices connected to a central coordinator, I would rather recommend SMAC. But you can also try the MyStarNetwork example on 802.15.4 MAC.

BeeKit will allow you to generate your custom hardware target for CodeWarrior.

Hope it helps,

Best regards

Hi all,

Where do you find Freescale Z-Stack? Because Frescale said that the released was for December 2006 but we didn't see anything!!!!!!!!!!
Any "Freescaler" can answer?

At the moment you can only develop application with BeeKit using
SMAC
802.15.4

None owns a Freescale Z-Stack, because it is not released anymore. There was a old
Figure8Wireless stack but it was removed form downloadable software months ago!!!!

Bye
Stevasway
