Hi.

I' tring to program a GP32 MCU with the software called P&E ICS08GPGTZ.

The programmer that ia used is the one from the original datasheet.

When i try to enter in Monitor Mode with tis mcu,the software tels me that,on the STATUS Section, at the 4th Status Indicator that the mcu did not enter the monitor mode.First 4 Status indicators are ok("Y") .The rest are blank.

What solutions can you offer me?

Tnx.

What are you using?

Are all the parts you have tested programmed or blank. Try a blank one if you can.

Really poking in the dark here...

The duty cycle is 50%.I measured the voltage between OSC1 and OSC2 with a voltage meter and the values diplayed was 2.5 V.

I havent' tried a 9.804MHz oscilator. This might be the problem?

I definately works here.

I have no experience and have never heard of anyone running the monitor at this speed.

Failing comment from anybody that has done this, it is what I would try first.

It seems that the 16MHz osccilator requires a speciefied baud-rate that cannot be "emulated" properly by the software.Using a 20MHz osscilator, the specified baud-rate it is more appropiate of a real hardware suported baud-rate.

So,using a 20Mhz for example, all works fine.
