The S08JS family is old and the bootloader was released for USB 2.0 not for USB 3.0

Regards

Hi Vincente,

I am aware the JS16 only supports USB2 BUT it should still work as a USB2 device on a USB3 interface since USB3 supports USB2 devices. Otherwise we would have to throw away all our old devices which is not the case.

My USB2 software on the same device works fine on the same USB3 interface without any changes.

I would expect Freescale to be able to code to the USB2 specification and hence continue to work on current USB3 systems.

So I'm not sure what your reply is trying to indicate.

I am looking for confirmation that others have seen this problem so I know whether it is some subtle flaw in my bootloader GUI or a problem in the bootloader firmware.

bye
