P82B715 Pull up resistor??

Hi Everone,

I am working with P82B715 IC for long ditance I2C communication.

I read the datasheet and understand that there is no noise margin for this IC, the output will appear same as the input.

Is my understanding is correct??

Also VCC is 4.5V to 12V as per datasheet. Can I pull up SDA and SCL lines on both side of buffer with 1.8V??

If I do like this,will this affect performance??

I requesting to provide me the information as soon as possible.
