Since, Windows machine doesn't have the hardware to support straight RS485 communication. You need something along the line of either an RS-232 tor RS485 or USB to RS485. Also depends on whether it's a Full Duplex RS485 or Half Duplex RS485.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi i am using MC9S08DN16 controller and i have written a code for serial communication RS 485. I checked the code in debug mode and it works fine, I was just thinking if i could use any hyper terminal where i can type the data in the hyper terminal and i can receive it in the program i have written. please help me even if there is any other method i can veryfy the code i have written.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P style="min-height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 10pt; line-height: 1.5em;"&gt;I am using a windows 7 operating system.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P style="min-height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Vikas &lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
