I do not think so, that device is really obsolete

I would suggest to check some of suitable S08 devices instead.

Hi Pavel,

Thank you for your response. We have a product with 68HC705 and I need to make some minor changes to software. Because I do not have the development tools(debugger/emulator) I am not able to test the software efficiently as 68HC05 has only OTPROM.

Are there any development tools still available for this IC?

Freescale doesn't have developement tool for 68HC705. we recommend you use tool from P&E and Cosmic

for the detail information, please see

What is full Part Number of your "68HC705" MCU? This info will help to find the right development tool and its current availability status.
