Hi Alban

My client is Bosch (Australia). I have a confidentiality agreement with them, and they in turn have an NDA with Freescale. I have tried to send you a personal email with the details of a Freescale person who can co-ordinate this stuff. Please let me know via the forum if this is OK or otherwise

Regards
Colin

Heres a blast from the past - the 68HC805K3

Does anyone have access to the programming instructions for directly programming the above, ie pins, signals, voltages, commands etc. The original Rev 1 datasheet did not include this information. As a "Plan Z" I need to investigate making up a programmer to get a client out of a bind.

In case you're wondering why we need to do this - Our client has a current mask part (68HC05K3) and they need to trial new peeprom settings. The mask part has the peeprom pre-programmed and secured at Freescale so we cant demo the peeprom changes with the mask parts. The 805K3 is no longer manufactured but we have access to a small stock into which we need to program code/peeprom .

Thanks

Colin

Hi Colin,

705K1 General Programming Information

This device does not have built-in bootloader ROM code. To program this device it must be put into expanded test mode. The user can either sign an NDA to get the test mode spec or use the M68HC705KICS Board to program these devices.

Do you have such NDA or the ICS ?

Cheers,
Alban {old stuff specialist}
