How to Reset Prescaler in RTI Module?

In the 908AC family, does writing 000 to the RTIS2-0 bits also clear the prescaler?

I want to start the RTI from zero each time I enable it. No mention of this in the data sheet.

Hello,

Writing a value of zero to the RTIS bits actually disables the timer. I guess the write of a non-zero value, to re-enable the timer, is likely to clear the prescaler. Maybe writing any new value will do the same. This should be relatively easy to test.

Yeah, makes more sense if the prescaler reset would occur on any write actually. I guess I'll find out soon enough. My hardware isn't built yet so I'll just have to wait a few more days. I'm just trying to get ahead and get some of it written before I get it.
