    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;all ZSTAR(1), ZSTAR2 and ZSTAR3 sensor boards do always have accelerometer sensor, MCU and the wireless transceiver. The only difference is that:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;ZSTAR has &lt;B&gt;MMA7260Q&lt;/B&gt; sensor, MC9S08QG8 MCU and MC1319x wireless chip&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;ZSTAR2 is almost identical, just different sensor used - &lt;B&gt;MMA7360L&lt;/B&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;the latest development ZSTAR3 combined MCU + wireless MC1321x family chip&lt;BR /&gt;and the two options for the sensor:&lt;STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;MMA7361L&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;analog or&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;MMA7456L&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/STRONG&gt; digital&amp;nbsp; accelerometer&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;So far, just one type of the USB stick (with HC908JW32) is used to connect any of these sensors. &lt;A href="http://www.freescale.com/webapp/sps/site/prod_summary.jsp?code=RD3172MMA7456L&amp;amp;nodeId=01126911184209&amp;amp;fpsp=1&amp;amp;tab=Design_Tools_Tab#" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"&gt;RD3172MMA7456L_SW&lt;/A&gt; and accompanying firmware allow multiple sensors with one USB stick.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Pavel, Freescale Czech&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Message Edited by ok2ucx on &lt;SPAN class="date_text"&gt;2009-01-06&lt;/SPAN&gt; &lt;SPAN class="time_text"&gt;09:06 AM&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Message Edited by ok2ucx on &lt;SPAN class="date_text"&gt;2009-01-06&lt;/SPAN&gt; &lt;SPAN class="time_text"&gt;09:06 AM&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I am thinking of getting either zstar2 or zstar 3 demo board.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Whats the difference between them?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Zstar2 includes both the sensor and the wireless transceiver, correct?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;DIV&gt; &lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
