Hi all,

I run the same small test code for MSCAN on the S08DZ60 Demo Board as on my target board running a S08DZ32. On the demo board I get the sync bit, but on my target I do not. I am using the TI ISO1050 Isolated CAN Transceiver on my target. The RXCAN and TXCAN MPU pins are at logic high while CAN Bus is not connected. (5 VDC) I am stuck for an answer on why the MSCAN is not syncing. BTW, MSCAN initialization is working fine.

Any suggestions?

TIA,

David

i think you should check the configuration of the hardware.

if you are using the high-speed CAN, both H and L should be at 2.5V in idle. you could use pull-up and pull-down to realize it.
