    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;Hello&amp;nbsp;and thanks,&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;I check the values and the connections, and finally it runs with a default project.&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;Now want to use&amp;nbsp; bootloader in jm60, &amp;nbsp;for this I check the&amp;nbsp; AN3561,&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;So I understand that I have to burn the project&amp;nbsp; (AN3561SW)&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;using&amp;nbsp;bdm, &amp;nbsp;and &amp;nbsp;next&amp;nbsp; I can update the program entering in bootloader mode,&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;or &amp;nbsp;run the programs,&amp;nbsp;entering in user mode,&amp;nbsp; I can select this options using&lt;FONT face="Times New Roman"&gt;&amp;nbsp;PTG0.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;Adittional to wire the&amp;nbsp; usb &amp;nbsp;connections, &amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;I have&amp;nbsp;dudes about the&amp;nbsp;value of the xtal that use the&amp;nbsp;source code&amp;nbsp;AN3561SW,&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;or what I have to wired ot get bootloader working.&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;Thanks for the help or suggestion about this.&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;Regards.&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;Fredy.&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <title>hardware jm 60</title>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;I´m trying to get running jm 60 but&amp;nbsp; I don´t &amp;nbsp;work.&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;I do I simple program&amp;nbsp; to turn on and off a led , for test the mcu.&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;then I burn the program using bdm.&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;Until here, there is no problem with anything.&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;But when I want to see if it works, it don´t do anything.&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;I have burn diferents programs but nothing happens, I think the problem is in my hardaware.&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;I used:&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;xtal = 12Mhz&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;Rf = 1M&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;Rs=330k&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;all vdd = 5V&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;all Vss =ground.&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;I can´t see where is the problem or why the program no runs.&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;I do the connections &amp;nbsp;that suggest in datasheet.&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;as the attach.&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;Thanks for your help.&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;Regards,&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;Fredy&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;Since you did not put pin numbers on your diagram or state which package you are using, it is impossible to say if you hooked things up correctly. In fact, since there are no pins numbers, how did you wire it? I usually take that page from the spec sheet, print it out and pencil in the pin numbers from the package diagram.&lt;BR /&gt;You don't show how the led is connect either. If you are using the 64/32/44 pin LQFP, there are at least 2 VDD and VSS pins that must be connected, possibly others..&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I've wired up 6 boards using 6 different processors using the diagram from the spec sheet, and AFTER I corrected all my wiring errors, it always worked. My motto is wire once, check 3 times.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Are you saying that you can connect with a BDM and Codewarrior?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If so&amp;nbsp; you should generate a "default" project using Processor Expert (choosing the correct MCU) and use the internal clock generator to test things out first.&amp;nbsp; That way it does not matter if you correctly connect the xtal.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;My suggestion was to make the LED blink using the internal clock as a test, not to get rid of the xtal.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;In any event, I recommend you download this &lt;A href="http://www.freescale.com/files/soft_dev_tools/doc/support_info/DEMOJM_Schematics.pdf?fpsp=1&amp;amp;WT_TYPE=Product%20Numbering%20Scheme&amp;amp;WT_VENDOR=FREESCALE&amp;amp;WT_FILE_FORMAT=pdf&amp;amp;WT_ASSET=Documentation" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"&gt;schematic&lt;/A&gt; as it is the reference design for what you are trying to do.       <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;Hello Fredy,&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;One of your problems is that the series resistor Rs is far too high (330k) for a 12 MHz crystal.&amp;nbsp; For this type of crystal, a more typical value would be zero ohms.&amp;nbsp; The inclusion of this resistor is usually necessary only&amp;nbsp;for low frequency crystals, to control the drive level to the crystal.&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;The other resistor Rf should remain at 1Mohm.&amp;nbsp; What capacitor values are you using at the crystal?&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Equal values of 22p should normally give satisfactory results.&amp;nbsp; I presume you have tied the earthy end of both capacitors to the ground plane, as well as to pin 59, and the components are located very close to the MCU package.&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;I also notice that you have not shown any bypass capacitor between pins 44/45 and 46/47.&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;Regards,&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;Mac&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
