PWM with device initialization

Hi im using a MC9s08QE32

I want to have a constant pwm

So in device initialization I set the right timer and channel for the pin im using

Set it to edge aligned

Set modulo to 99 and compare value to 50 for now

and set output on compare

but the thing doesnt seem to work

I must use ovf interruption to clear the pin??

and another thing is how do i increase or decrease the pwm

simply writing c0vl and c0vh at any moment?
