Short answer to this one: it's the same compiler (afaik). The only restrictions between the different editions pertain to code size.

Hello,

Is it so that the compiler that comes with Codewarrior Professional Edition is different from the one that comes with Special Edition? In other words, is it so that by using Codewarrior Professional Edition results in a more efficient use of microcontrollers memory (RAM, ROM) by using better optimization routines as compared to using Special Edition?

I know that Special Edition has restrictions pertaining to code size, want to know if there are restrictions pertaining to code optimization.

Thanks,

Amit
