    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I don't know about your board, but I guess its similar to the DEMOJM60 board I use&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;To program external CPU boards,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I simply remove the CPU and extend out the BDM and ground wires to the extranel target CPU&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;(you could also bring out the RESET wire to avoid having to do a manumal target reset)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

I feel confused because of your statement "remove cpu" . Can you elaborate on this .       <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hello,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;For the DEMO9S08AW60E board, a 6-pin header would be soldered to the unused J32 location.&amp;nbsp; A 6-way ribbon cable assembly then connects from this header to the header on the target board.&amp;nbsp; The resident MCU on the board needs to be removed from its socket, to prevent conflict with the target board.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Mac&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
