    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am using MC9S08LG32 (LQFP-80 package) with inbuilt LCD Module.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am operating my core and other peripherals at 3.3 VDC.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Can I still operate my LCD Module from 5 VDC power-rail without damaging the controller.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hello sandeepnaik,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The LG32 has an integrated LCD driver that can supply LCD waveforms for 5 V glass.&amp;nbsp; You can use the on-chip charge pump to create the 5V source needed to drive the LCD when operating the MCU at 3.3V.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The only time you should connect VLL3 to 5 V is when the MCU voltage is set at 5 V.&amp;nbsp; &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The externally supplied voltages MUST NOT EXCEED VDD :smileysad:.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Check out the reference manual, LCD section&amp;nbsp; &lt;STRONG&gt;&lt;STRONG style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Helvetica-Bold;"&gt;&lt;STRONG style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Helvetica-Bold;"&gt; &lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Table 9-19.
