COP problem in QG8

Hello,

in my code (MCU qg8), I need to disable COP first and then enable it later for a few times,but In QG8,it says SOPT1 can be written only once after reset.

this means I couldn't reenable COP later if I disable COP at the beginning.

amyones knows how to solve this problem?I don't want to reset cop for too many times...

why do you want to switch the watchdog off and on? I think the benefit is to have the "house" under control even if you are out! So i do feeding the dog regularly except in ISR routines and did not have any problems.

I think Joerg is right,, but if you really want to enable/disable the watchdog on the fly, I believe that the only way you can do it is to perform a reset each time.
