Hello,

I am thinking of using the mc9s08sh8 model for my project since this microcontroller can work with 5V and has a DIP package. The number of I/O ports is very critical for me and in the datasheet it seems there are more than 2 TPM channels for each 16-bit timer module. I only need two channels for PWM signals and I couldn't figure it out which channels are for PWM. 7th and 11th pins are labeled as TPM1CH1 and 12th and 20th pins are labeled as TPM1CH0. Can anyone explain to me how these timer channels are configured?

Have a peek at page 70 of the datasheet (System Options Register). It explains how you can choose which pins are timer I/O.
