Has anybody had problems with getting the autonegotiation on the HS12NE64 to work with some switches/hubs. And if they do, any work arounds?

Posted: Tue May 24, 2005 8:22 pm

Do you know who's silicon is inside the switches/hubs ? Broadcom, Marvell, Kendon, Micrel, Vitesse, Intel etc ? It does make a big difference in knowing where to start in the debug stage !!

Posted: Thu May 26, 2005 4:00 pm

Hi,

it seems to be a microcontroller problem related to other devices LPT. Take a look to the NE64 errata (MSE9S12NE64_1L19S) in the Freescale web site.
