There's probably no XD64 maskset and no updated datasheet yet. It must be that you ordered bigger chips (128k or even 256k) for less. Reading PARTID register or what's printed on the chip should tell you what you have inside.

Hi, we're using the variant of the 9S12 with XGate processor that only has 64k flash... the official documentation (MC9S12CDP512V2) has sections for 512k, 256k, and 128k flash variants, but no description of the 64k flash module. Obviously, it has to be a single 64k block, comprised of 64 sectors of 1024 bytes, right? In all other respects is it the same as the 128k?

Another quirk in the documentation: chapters 17 and 18 both describe a memory mapping control (MMC) module; the introductions to each of those chapters don't shed much light on which chips they apply to... does anyone know what's going there?

Thanks for whatever light you can shed on this.

Kurt
