Didn't that help?

Hi dear Kef.

I searched the forum but I can't find any useful solution.

There is something weird . Some ICs works with bootloader and backdoor unlocking. But some ICs don't work.

I remember someone was trying AN2880SW with S12E256 and it didn't work due to the bugs in the code. The funny thing is some older masksets seem to accept all zeros backdoor key while flash contains not zero backdoor key, This allowed buggy AN2880SW to work on buggy parts.

http://forums.freescale.com/freescale/board/message?board.id=16BITCOMM&message.id=3947
