I am afraid, the activeX controls can only be used with IE I guess. For Firefox there are plugins available which only allow the proper functioning of some objects like Windows Media Player etc. Any other suggestions anyone?

I am a newbie. When I try to open the demo.htm for NE64 Open TCP, Internet Explorer crashes. I tried to install the VB 6 runtime files but even after that it is crashing. Please give me some ideas. I am using Windows NT Professional and IE 6.

Looking forward.

Sounds like you should be reporting the crasher to Microsoft and not to this forum .
Anyway, instead of trying to manually fix IE, I would suggest to use an alternative browser instead.

Daniel

Next logical step: borrow someone's system that has Windows XP installed on it to see if Win NT is missing a critical resource.

Also: how much RAM to you have in that box? Low memory conditions can cause all sorts of spurious problems.

---Tom

Thanks for the reply. It is working with WinXP now. I wanted to know how to make a webpage (similar to the demo) to access the variables in the memory page of the microcontroller.
