Get AN2720.pdf from Freescale. This is C code for CodeWarrior, but it has the right algorithms if you're using a different language/compiler.

I think your device has the serial monitor, right? I think you can download the serial monitor source code at Freescale. This should be a good example on how to program flash. See AN2548.pdf.

Or, maybe you just call into the serial monitor from your program?
