    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am currently starting a project with a S912ZVMC12F3 controller and I was wondering if there are Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL) drivers / MCALs provided by NXP?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;According to table at&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://www.nxp.com/design/design-center/software/automotive-software-and-tools/autosar:AUTOSAR-HOME" target="_self"&gt;AUTOSAR® Software Architecture | NXP Semiconductors&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;there are MCALS available, but not for S12Z MCUs.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;For S12ZVMC256 MagniV MCUs it is provided, so I was also wondering whether it can be used as the MCU is similar??&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Appreciate support, cheers Thomas&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;According to the release notes of the MCAL drivers, only the S12ZVMC256 is supported.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;As you said, the MCUs are very similar - most of the modules like SPI, SCI, MSCAN are the same.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;But there are differences too, refer to the RM, Table 1-3. S12ZVM Module Version Table.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Also, in general, the MCAL drivers requires more Flash and SRAM. &lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;There is only 8kB of SRAM and 128kB of Flash on S12ZVMC12.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The MCAL comes with a Quality package that has Memory size reports for each driver.&lt;/P&gt;
