Hello

First I want to check with you that we are speaking of the same thing.

In order to retrieve the CodeWarrior version number did you do the following:

 - Open IDE

 - Select Help -> "About Freescale CodeWarrior"

 - Click on "Installed Products"

You have seen the V4.1 in the Installed product dialog. Is that correct?

CodeWarrior for HCS12 V4.1 is not a full production release and there is no Processor Expert for this release of the software.

Note that Processor Expert will not allow you to SEE the register TCNT. Processor Expert is a tool, which generates low level drivers for you.

It has nothing to do with the run time debugger or simulator debugger.

What are you trying to do exactly? Can you explain the steps you are performing in the simulator to see the TCNT register?

Do you want to see the register changing while the application is stopped? Or while it is running?

CrasyCat
