&lt;P&gt;It is used the fractional arithmetic in this case so the MSB is sign bit. The number is in range of +-1.000 on 15-bits (14:0).&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Attached is the excel sheet for this calculation too.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;some weeks ago I added a question regarding the Filter of the MagniV.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Now, I´ve got an additional question....&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;At page 139 of the manual of the MM9Z1_638&amp;nbsp; I found the main structure of the implemented low pass filter. In table 192, I found the value conversation: "Data Format: MSB = Sign (“1” minus)"&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Does it mean, you are using the twos complement? and is there an excel sheet aviable to calculate new values?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;regards.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
