    <description>&lt;P&gt; &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;MM912H634 Microcontroller &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;While flashing the program using Cyclone Pro and PC utility called “PROG12Z_CYCLONEPRO Programmer” &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Step 1: Reset / Connect (Enter BDM mode) &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Step 2: Erase DFlash &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Step 3: Erase PFlash &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Step 4: Program the (BL + APP combined) .s19 file &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Here during Step 4, While the program is getting flashed, &lt;STRONG&gt;if there is some error (sometimes due to loose connection/handhold)&lt;/STRONG&gt;, and programming halted, then there is NO further communication is possible with the ECU. ECU is unusable thereafter. &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;If I try to execute Step 1. Then it throws an error: “Can not enter background mode”.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Appreciate any suggestions / solution&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="CycloneProFlashingError.png" style="width: 400px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://community.nxp.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/125312i5513C4D76D19F183/image-size/medium?v=v2&amp;amp;px=400" role="button" title="CycloneProFlashingError.png" alt="CycloneProFlashingError.png" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello,&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Since you use PE Micro programmer and Cyclone PRO, I would recommend contacting PE Micro support.&lt;BR /&gt;They should provide more information about the error message.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Have you tried the PE Micro UNSECURE12 utility?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://www.pemicro.com/faqs/faq_view.cfm?id=1" target="_blank"&gt;http://www.pemicro.com/faqs/faq_view.cfm?id=1&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
