Hi,

We are trying to make something interesant with 16 bit mc9s12xdp512 and his co-proccesor xgate. I have read the documentation about MCU and Xgate and several times I have found "is documented in the section blablabla of the SoC guide". Can someone tell me what is SoC (System on Chip) guide? Can I download it?
I need to read this guide, it's like drug for me.

Thanks for your information

--
Alban Edit: please put part name in subject line!

Message Edited by Alban on 2007-04-27 03:29 PM

The SoC guide is actually the first chapter of the data book that you have (Device Overview). The term is a throwback to the days when we had multiple books that made up the spec of the chip.

The references are usually to the memory configuration on the chip (1.1.4), the device pinout (1.2.1), the interrupt vector/channel list (1.6.1), and ATD/PIT/PWM trigger connections (1.8/1.9). SoC may also refer to the electrical characteristics of the device in appendix A.

Hi Steve,

You are a guru. There is too much documentation and sometimes it was very difficult to know where is the right information.

Thanks!
