I want to know detail of MCAT for S12ZVM

Hello.

I use MC9S12ZVML128 PMSM Sensorless.

I try to use my own motor, and to modify the parameters in MCAT.

I read Application Note which is a part of installed package.

But I want to know more detail of MCAT.

For example,

About meaning of parameter
How to measure parameters

So I accessed MCAT's website (MCAT/DOCUMENTATION).

However, there is no Application Note for S12ZVM.

I also read all Application Notes on website, but I didn't know which I should refer to.

Is there a document with details on MCAT for S12ZVM?

If not, which Application Note on website is useful for me?

I already read AN5135.pdf and Introductin VTR.

I think they are simple explanations about MCAT.

I want to know more detail of MCAT, for example,

About mening of parameter
How to mesure parameters

In AN4912.pdf (https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/application-note/AN4912.pdf)

and AN4680.pdf (https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/application-note/AN4680.pdf),

there are written about MCAT's detail I want know.

Do the contents of these documents apply to S12ZMV exactly as well?

Hello,

Yes, you can use AN4912 and AN4680 accordingly. The terminology is the same. The MCAT tool has been developed for industrial devices as well as for the automotive devices up on the same theory and principals. There are some features which are different, but the output of the MCAT is very similar (a header file to be imported to an embedded project). The embedded side is different (especially the AMMCLib library is used specifically for automotive products).
