      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi Jason,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Could you please specify what you mean by “the LS0 pin get out of control”?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Do you mean that the code works correctly, but low side switch does not react on LSDR_LSDR0 bit modification? Or code do not react on external request?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Is it temporary failure (until MCU reset) or permanent (MCU replacement is necessary)?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Each low-side driver has an over-current detection while enabled with a current threshold of ILIMLSX. If over-current is detected the related interrupt flag (LSOCIF1 or LSOCIF0) is set in the LSDRV Interrupt Flag Register (LSIF). As long as the over-current interrupt flag remains set the related low-side driver is turned off to protect the circuit.Clearing the related over-current interrupt flag returns back the control of the driver to the selected source in the PIM module.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Additionally, there is an active clamp (for driving relays) protecting each driver stage. The active clamp will turn on a low-side FET if the voltage on a pin exceeds VCLAMP (min. 40V) when the driver is turned off.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;If possible, please specify also MCU maskset and share schematic for short check for any obvious/potential issue.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I hope it helps you.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Have a great day,&lt;BR /&gt;Radek&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------&lt;BR /&gt;Note: If this post answers your question, please click the Correct Answer button.
