      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi Dw,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I just check past topics and discover your question as unanswered.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Is your question still active?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The KIT9Z1J638 board does not contain current shunt, this must be connected externally.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The shunt is a low ohmic resistor which generates voltage drop when current flow through it.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You can see it in the picture below - the metal part below assembled PCB.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper" image-alt="RD9Z1-638-12V-C-12V-Battery-Sensor-DI.jpg"&gt;&lt;img src="https://community.nxp.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/17684i1FBA1E75FAAF33E8/image-size/large?v=v2&amp;amp;px=999" role="button" title="RD9Z1-638-12V-C-12V-Battery-Sensor-DI.jpg" alt="RD9Z1-638-12V-C-12V-Battery-Sensor-DI.jpg" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I hope it helps you.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Have a great day,&lt;BR /&gt;Radek&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------&lt;BR /&gt;Note: If this post answers your question, please click the Correct Answer button.
