      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;Your question is too broad, we have hundreds of microcontrollers in the HCS12 family that are derived from the original HC12 family. It all depends on your system requirements (# of I/O, Timers, ADC, frequency, memory, etc.). One very good general purpose HCS12 that seems to fit the bill in many HC12 redesigns is the MC9S12GC32 or MC9S12C32.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;We have a web tool called MCU Builder, why don't you give that a shot...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://www.freescale.com/files/abstract/overview/MCU_BUILDER.html" target="test_blank"&gt;http://www.freescale.com/files/abstract/overview/MCU_BUILDER.html&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
