      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Not sure how we miss this question, anyway here is some information.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-family: Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"&gt;Unfortunately, there isn't a CAN bootloader developed for S12P and similar MCU family.&lt;BR /&gt;So far there is SCI bootloader:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A class="jive-link-external-small" href="https://community.freescale.com/external-link.jspa?url=http%3A%2F%2Fcache.nxp.com%2Ffiles%2Fmicrocontrollers%2Fdoc%2Fapp_note%2FAN4258.pdf" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"&gt;http://cache.nxp.com/files/microcontrollers/doc/app_note/AN4258.pdf&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;There is CAN bootloader, but for MagniV devices based on S12Z CPU.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A class="jive-link-external-small" href="https://community.freescale.com/external-link.jspa?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nxp.com%2Ffiles%2Fmicrocontrollers%2Fdoc%2Fapp_note%2FAN4723.pdf" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"&gt;http://www.nxp.com/files/microcontrollers/doc/app_note/AN4723.pdf&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A class="jive-link-external-small" href="https://community.freescale.com/external-link.jspa?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nxp.com%2Ffiles%2Fmicrocontrollers%2Fdoc%2Fapp_note%2FAN4723_SW.zip" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"&gt;http://www.nxp.com/files/microcontrollers/doc/app_note/AN4723_SW.zip&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;So you can combine these two.
