MC9S12C128 SPI to SD Card with FAT file system.

I am trying to interface an MC9S12C128 controller SPI interface with an SD Card with FAT file system. Has anyone had success with this or know of examples that exist?

Hi Tim,

I am afraid that currently we do not know about such example code.

There is Universal Serial Bus Card Reader Reference Design (DRM065) for S12UF32

http://www.freescale.com/products/archived/universal-serial-bus-card-reader-reference-design:RDHCS12UF32CR

However S12UF32 have directly SDHC controller module for access to SD card.

FAT file system is described in fatgen103.pdf file – please use your favourite search engine for download this file.

Hello Tim,

I also will need a driver for the MMC_SD card and FAT system.

I have just converted code written for the Atmel AVR to S12G128. The project compiles without errors, but I do not have a way to test it at the moment. Maybe you could do this.
