Hi,

I use 9sdp256, and want to know if of the one to execute codigos in the external ram. I use the internal ram to make this but, is little for data and codigos. based in AN2408(of HCS12 external Bus Design). I need > = 32kb ram. I load the code in the ram later I give one (call address pre defined return for (main program)). they are small funçoes that I use alone in the momento. if I to use a external ram (32kb), of the one to execute code? if yes, of the one I to reach funtion in main program ?.

Hi,

I ask, I am posivel to load and to execute codes in the external RAM.

seemed with (MMU or 8051 ROMless).

12kb of internal ram is little pra to twirl given and codes for this reason I want to try to execute in external ram.

9s12dp256 execute code in external RAM ( yes or not )???

You can certainly execute code from external memory on the S12DP256. AN2287 shows how the memory is paged into the S12 memory map. You can place data or code into these pages.
