John Cotner is a member of the field engineering team of Freescale Semiconductor. John has held a variety of positions within the automotive electronics industry for the past 25 years, including functional safety, cyber security, hybrid vehicle control and powertrain electronics at Freescale. John received BS and MS degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Michigan and holds four patents.
