Hi torus1000

in general yes they can be replaced, based on frequency stability

described in i.MX6 System Development User’s Guide

https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/user-guide/IMX6DQ6SDLHDG.pdf

Probably one will have to place level shifter, please check datasheet of

specific mems chip and Development User’s Guide for necessary signal levels.

Best regards
igor

Dear Igor igorpadykov

> please check ... and Development User’s Guide for necessary signal levels.

Actually our client use MCIMX7D-SDB.
So I checked IMX7DSHDG.pdf then found follwing description.

For RTC_XTALI VIL and VIH voltage levels, see the
latest i.MX 7 series datasheet available at nxp.com.

But I couldn't find neither VIL nor VIH in the latest datasheet.

Unfortunately we do not have such detail information of the XTAL spec.

(Q1) Did your answer "necessary signal levels" mean VIL and VIH?

(Q2) If yes, where can I get VIL and VIH spec for RTC_XTALI and XTALI pins?

Thanks.
