We have received our prototypes using two SC16IS752 on the SPI bus.
Unfortunately we cannot manage to get any thing out of it (SO always HIGH).
SPI clock, SPI SI, RST, VDD, VSS, SPI select all these pins have been double-checked and are fine.
First thing after bootup, we are trying to write to the SPR register and read its value. So we write 2 bytes (cmd 0x38 + rdm data) and then read again (cmd 0xB8).
Note that we have also tried to get the chip to work as stand-alone, without any success.
Anyone encountering similar issues?
