Hello
My Motor project uses LIN as Communication Bus based on MC9S12ZVML,And I use the IRC to generate the clock. Now,I want to put the micro in stop mode.
When the MCU enters STOP(I check the ECLK,and there's no frequece), the current is nearly 3mA,so what else may consume the current?
In addition,Can LIN wake up the MCU when in stop mode?
Any help will be appreciated!
Best regards,
xiaofan

Hi Xiaofan,
No, the SCI module does not work in Stop mode.
The module wakes up on active edge.
If the wake-up feature is enabled and if the LIN Bus pin is driven with a dominant level longer than tWUFR followed by a rising edge, the LIN Physical Layer sends a wake-up pulse to the SCI, which requests a wake-up interrupt. (This feature is only available if the LIN Physical Layer is routed to the SCI). (Chapter 19.1.2 of the S12ZVM RM).

Daniel
Hi,Daniel
Glad to hear your response.
I'm still confused,as in full STOP mode, the bus clock is stopped, the sci can still work?

xiaofan.
