Hello,

We just bought the FRDM-K64F to start development on a new project. The first thing we try to do is use KDS design studio to flash the board but we are getting the error below. We have nave never flashed the board before. We are using the latest KDS.

We tried using MCUXpresso but there was not option to flash the board using OpenOCD.

Hi Desmond,

Have you tried loading the P&E or J-Link firmware to the FRDM-K64F? You can find more information on this link:

https://community.nxp.com/docs/DOC-105199

Also, I would recommend you to use MCUXpresso which is the newest IDE and has replaced KDS.

Hope it helps!
