Concern about i.MX6SL and PF3000 connection

Hi all

I have concern about a connection of i.MX6SL and PF3000.

Specifically, connection of POR_B and RESETBMCU.

I think the signal's electrical characteristics don't suit each other.

Please give me NXP's opinion.

The max VoL of RESETBMCU is 0.4 x OVDD.

On the other hand, the max ViL of POR_B is 0.3 x OVDD.

When the PF3000 outputs from 0.3 x OVDD to 0.4 x OVDD, i.MX6SL can't detect it "Low”.

As a result, I guess PF3000 is not suit for i.MX6SL.

Q1.

Is above my understanding correct ?

Q2.

If Q1 is correct, could you give me the recommendation way to suit the spec ?

Add info:

I refer following thread too.

The attach is the image which electrical characteristics comes from datasheet.

Hello,

The max VoL of RESETBMCU is 0.4 x OVDD for -2mA of load; so,

if load current is smaller, say, because of restriction resistor  the max

VOL should be lower, than 0.4 x OVDD.

Have a great day,
Yuri

Hi Yuri Muhin

According to you answer, user need to adjust the voltage by themselves if they choice the PF3000 and i.MX6SL.

Am I correct ?

Hello,

Yes, it may be needed to apply a restriction resistor for assurance.

Regards,

Yuri.
