Does i.MX6 Solo OpenCV Support Hardware GPU Support?

Hi,

I was referring to post about i.MX6 opencv  .. And wanted to know further. I went through http://cache.freescale.com/files/32bit/doc/app_note/AN4629.pdf . Is it required to do OpenGL programming to make use of the GPU on Solo processors? Or OpenCV itself makes use of it? For example, if I give a GaussianBlur(), the underlying OpenCV software makes use of the GPU? Could you please correct my understanding?

opencv doesn't depend on GPU, which depends what image  you build, and current yocto bsp includes opencv already.
