Dear Sir

I want to ask about DDR Stress TEST.

Customer uses the DDR3 with 528MHz.

Q1.

What value should we set at Start Freq and End Freq in DDR Test Tool if we use the DDR CLK with 528MHz?

Best Regards,

Eishi SHIBUSAWA

Hello,

It may be recommended to test memory for its highest working frequency + 10% and

for lowest one - 10%.

Have a great day,
Yuri

Dear Yuri

Thanks for your answer.

Can I ask you some more?

The following description was in the Community.

What criteria is frequency range in DDR stress test

It seems that DDR CLK may become 24MHz.

Q1.

Does the DDR CLK become 24 MHz?

(I think that 24MHz of DDR CLK is out of the DDR spec.)

Q2.

I think that the test range of DDR Stress TEST is from 135MHz to 672MHz.

How can we test when the DDR CLK is 24MHz?

Best Regards,

Eishi SHIBUSAWA

Hello,

Jedec specs provide data for the following configurations :
DDR3-800, DDR3-1066, DDR3-1333, DDR3-1600, DDR3-1866, DDR3-2133.
According to the specs Minimum Clock Cycle Time (DLL off mode) is 8 ns.
But this does not prohibit users to apply i.MX6 with other configurations if

DDR timing specs (in Datasheet) allow it.

Regards,

Yuri.
