Hello,

We are trying to run Android(Marshmallow) on imx6Q Sabre AI with bluetooth telephone and FM radio support.

After doing an initial study, we have decided to use following modules:

1. Silicon Labs Si475x/6x-EVB daughter cards  for FM Radio.

2. Broadcom BCM4339 for bluetooth telephone.

We would like to confirm 1 & 2 hardware modules have support on imx6Q Sabre AI without any hardware changes?

Also, please confirm drivers and stack for 1 & 2 are available on Android M6.0.1_2.1.0 BSP?

Thanks

Akhil

Hello Joan Xie,

Thank you for your valuable suggestion.

From the specified discussionWIFI module AP6335(bcm4339) get stuck on android6.0.1(kernel 4.1.15)) on wifi module , we could refer the "i.MX_Linux_Reference_Manual.pdf". This reference manual is describing the software integration for BCM4339(bluetooth) and Si476x(Radio) on Linux OS.

We are trying to use Android(Marshmallow) on imx6Q Sabre AI.

Is  "i.MX_Linux_Reference_Manual.pdf" applicable for Android BSP(Linux Kernel) also?

Regards

Akhil
