Hi

Please refer TWR-KE18F board user guide to set jumper to default setting.

Then, customer could check here to download Segger J-Link firmware for TWR-KE18F board.

Please check here about how to update the TWR-KE18F board firmware.

Wish it helps.

Have a great day,
Ma Hui

Hello Hui_ma,

I already did that so many times but still i unable to do that.

I just randomly tried below solution and it works.

1. Press SW2 (switch for NMI ) and RESET switch together and plug-in USB cable to enter in BOOT LOADER mode.

2. Drag and Drop .bin file of new supported firmware.

3. Remove USB cable and plug-in again.

4. Now the board will work.

Thanks.

Hi Rohit,

That's really strange.

I had tested updating firmware with the TWR-KE18F board on my site without any problem.

Could you let us know the TWR-KE18F hardware version?

Thank you.

best regards,

Hui

Hi Hui_Ma,

I have pressed reset butten and connected my board to pc via usb, but it cannot dowload program to the board due to the reason that I modify the SWD and Reset pins as GPIO.

My HW version is TWR-KE18F with MKE18F512VLL16.

   Default Interface : DAPLink

   Default OpenSDA : OpenSDA V2.1

Hi,

Please don't press Reset button & plug in USB cable,  when you just want to debug with on board OpenSDA.

When you want to update the OpenSDA firmware, you need to press Reset button and plug in USB cable.

I don't receive another issue reported about TWR-KE18F board OpenSDA debugger.

Please check here to download suitable TWR-KE18F OpenSDA firmware.

Wish it help.

Have a great day,
Mike

Hi Hui_Ma,

I have brought the OpenSDA firmware into the board. Then I  also cannot find the DAP device and cannot dowload program.

Could you tell me more about the details to update the OpenSDA firmware. I want to know if I have operating error.

Thanks.

Hi,

When you press RESET(SW1) button and connect USB cable to PC, you will find the TWR-KE18F enumerated as a USB disc:

pastedImage_1.png

Then you can visit here to download DAPLink rev0242 firmware:

pastedImage_3.png

You can copy and paste [k20dx_twrke18f_if_crc.bin] to DAPLINKBOOT(D:) disk.

After above steps done, you can re-plug USB cable to PC without press RESET button, you can find DAPLINK(D:):

From Windows Device Manager panel, you could find there shows DAPLINK:

Then you can use DAPLINK to debug the code with MCUXpresso IDE software.

Wish it helps.

Have a great day,
Mike
