Hello,
We are doing the thermal analysis of i.MX6UL board by using MC34PF3000A7EP chip. For this we need efficiencies of linear and switching regulators available in PMIC. However we found that detailed efficiencies for the switcher and LDO's are not given in to their respective electrical characteristics section .
We want it for the calculation of overall power dissipation of the PMIC.
Do let us know how to move ahead with this or you have a excel sheet wherein these thermal calculation are already done.
Regards,
Surendra Jadhav

Dear Igor,

i.MX6UL describes about the specific power up and down sequence.

We are using "MC34PF3000A7EP" PMIC which only descibes about the start up sequence, while nothing mentioned about the power down sequence.

As per new errata sheet " ERR010690" , we have to ensure following condition.

>VDD_HIGH_IN power down is earlier than VDD_SOC_IN.--> Part of power down sequence

Let me know that whether MC34PF3000A7EP performs the required power up and down sequence for the CPU.

I have one more query as MC34PF3000A7EP- Table 42. Start-up configuration, none of the regulator is assisgned as seuqnce 1, all the regulators have sequence either no. 2 or 3. Also there is nothing mentioned about sequence no. 4 and 5.

Regards,

Surendra

Hi Surendra

for every new topic new thread is required, so for

power-up/down sequence one thread may be created.
